Fabulous food. Lots of details in the way the food was presented. Never had such fluffy Japanese egg omelet. Rice cooked in donabe (clay pot) offers a bit different texture and it was delicious. Food & ambience very high quality. Best if you book a day before.

We came here for breakfast, but it was full for the time slot we were free, so we made reservations for the next day. The breakfast was a delicious, healthy, obanzai style meal, that was very affordable. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend making reservations and going to breakfast (or any meal, though we only had time for breakfast)

Nice simple breakfast. Nothing much, nothing less. The fish was not out of the world but everything combined was good. One fine day for a Kyoto style breakfast.Reservation in advanced is highly recommended.
